Well, it was a real good stay during winter time. The room was impressive with nice interior and a luxury bathroom.

Great team, mix of young and local professionals. 'Old-fashioned' decoration, cozy atmosphere. Central location, close to restaurants, bars, and museums. Upgraded spacious room with comfortable bed and quiet windows. Antique style decor, decently sized room with rain shower and bath tub. Wifi and 24hr friendly staff available. Old hotel with character, small but cozy room, well-equipped bathroom. Good buffet breakfast option.

I had a pleasant surprise when I arrived at Boutique Hotel De Doelen. Despite arriving late, the staff managed to get me some food, which was exactly what I needed after a long day of work and travel. The room was really good, except for the slight disappointment of finding cigarette ashes in the non-smoking bathroom. However, this minor inconvenience didn't affect my good night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location of the hotel was great. I would definitely recommend staying at Boutique Hotel De Doelen.

The staff I encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. I asked about places to eat and drink, and they gave me extensive advice from a local's point of view. That was very helpful! The room was comfortable and clean, and the location is really unbeatable, right at the Grote Markt.

I can only think of two slightly critical things to say. First, the building itself has some strange (steep) stairs in it. I found them a bit awkward, though I understand that such things can't be helped in an old building. Second, the price was a bit steep for the quality of the hotel, though I understand that the prices are right in line with other comparable hotels in Groningen. Apart from those two minor things, I found the whole place very good.

The location couldn't be better, right on the main square next to the Martini tower. The rooms are spacious, with a large bathroom and even a fireplace in some. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of options including hot dishes and special dietary requirements. great value for money and attention to detail.

Beautiful well appointed 3 bed room. Ideal for our family. Lovely decor which really added something. Simply one of the best independant hotel for this money and location. Stay and enjoy.

Overall - beautifully decorated and beautifully kept place with very professional staff at check-out. A nice size, elegant room. The best central location, very close to all the city sights, and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Also, perfect right on the central square.

The hotel was clean with fairly friendly stuff at check-out. Very central location very close to key sightseeing points of interests, it was in a downstairs lounge area. Besides, Grote Markt was easily accessible.
