Room offered comfort with a spacious seating area, making it a quiet retreat despite being near busy terraces. The modern bathroom featured a walk-in shower, providing a refreshing experience.
The hotel decor felt tired and outdated, lacking recent renovations. A persistent musty odor greeted me upon entry and lingered throughout, notably stronger at the reception. Maintenance issues were also evident, especially with the power outlet looking a bit alarming.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Double or Twin Room. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was really spacious with modern fittings. I loved the old-world charm of the hotel with its cozy fireplace in the lobby. However, the internet was slow during peak hours, which was a bummer. Overall, it felt like a unique and welcoming spot despite the minor issues.

Just a strong match for a weekend respite in Groningen with outstanding value. The staff went out of their way to provide breakfast in an adjacent building when there was a power outage at 2 AM. Try to make a reservation during the quieter periods for fewer disturbances from the street noise.

The charming hotel features an elegant staircase and a cozy ambiance, with friendly staff who provide excellent service. The spacious room came with thoughtful amenities, including a welcoming drink voucher and local organic breakfast options. However, the internet was disappointingly slow during peak hours, and some noise from the street disturbed the tranquility. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city, but access to the room involved steep stairs, which could be challenging for some guests.

The hotel was a cozy spot for our family, especially with our dog. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the library lounge, which had a great vibe. The modern bathroom made our stay even more comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly.
My children wished for easier access for strollers.
